Bug Borg

Start life as a teeny tiny egg, hatch into a hopeful larva, and with enough luck and the right amount of gumption you could become something truly wonderful. On your journey as a bug you'll contend with the elements, predators, and the ticking clock while questing for your queen and colony during your short life on this earth.

10 Species to play!

Once you hatch you'll discover what kind of bug you actually are. Each species acts as a playable Class in the Mork Borg system with its own set of 4 specialties. These gregarious (for the most part) insects (or arachnids) are born into a colony and have fair social skills thanks to the pheromone reaction table. A party of pests will have to put aside some differences in order to help eachother out, but 12 legs are better than 6 as the saying goes.

The Ticking Clock

A bug's life isn't long. The clock starts as soon as you hatch. You'll need to spend your time wisely to live that short life to the fullest.

For the Queen!

You live for your Queen or other matriarch that rules your colony with iron antennae. She bids all her children quests to help maintain, defend, or expand the colony and rewards those who serve her best. Much you will undertake will be in service of your queen and colony. That's not to say you can't indulge in some personal errands along the way. Every bug should have their day... you only have a handful.

For the Colony!

The Hive's Health is just as import as your own. If it dies you die. Do what you can to help by scouting for food, driving off attackers, protecting convoys from hungry predators or shoring up against natural disasters.

Food & Brood

The two most important things in a bug's life after their queen. You'll need to keep yourself in good health by munching on whatever edibles you can find or start to wither, shortening your already short life.

Finding a mate will allow you to pass on your earned boons to the next generation. Once your bug bites it, if you've got a brood of offspring you'll take up the mantel and continue on your little legacy. If not, all will be absorbed into the hive and you'll start again from a fresh randomized egg.

Enemies

There are terrors of the world beyond the hive. Bigger bugs, birds, frogs, and even massive mammals are all looking to get a piece of you and your kin. You are, after all, the most abundant source of protein in the world.
